Ascent Trip Report

I remember wanting to do this hike since a family vacation to Utah when I was thirteen, but my parents wouldn't let me. I was ecstatic to be able to finally do it almost 10 years later to the day on a drive back from Oregon to NM.

Took the standard route up and avoided using any of the chains on the way up or down to get a more "natural" summiting experience. I would call it a class 2+ ascent due to the exposure and slight scrambling.

An Excellent, although somewhat crowded hike.
