Ascent Trip ReportOut on an overnight hike with my son's Boy Scout troop. We started the morning at the Hidden Valley main camp. Hiked up to Round Pond where we set up camp, them hiked to Piper and Belnap. We planned to hit Gunstock too but we were running short on water (couldn't get the pump at the top to work) and desire (we were starting to lose some of the boys) so decided to head back to camp and call it a day. Perfect hiking weather - clear, sunny, good visibility, not much wind. Lots of bugs but they're not biting yet.
