Ascent Trip Report

Started in Monica canyon on FR 4 at a hunting campground and hiked to switch springs (2.5 miles). Then took the Monica Trail (#91) to FR 138 (1.9 miles) before hitting the summit (1.85 miles). Mostly a road hike, although trail #91 is a nice, however unmaintained trail with lots of fallen trees across it. Still marked fairly consistently with blazes. This beats the standard drive up, though.

Did solo with my dog Rayleigh.
