Ascent Trip Report

THE USUAL AM ROUTINE - stretch in bag, take medication, toilet, wash face & hands, breakfast, check today`s rte, get water for day start, pack up gear, try to be on the T by 7h00. Another day of suds & muds. Less people on T since mt rogers.
So far the T in VA is not as wild as other states, cross more roads, more populated, go thru farmers fields, old farm houses, cemeteries, cows, open, much more variety. I like it much better than being in tunnelled woods all day w no/limited views.
Visited settlers schoolhouse from 1894 - offered fruit to hikers.
