continued up the wash past where you are supposed to veer right and up to the saddle to climb the ridgeline to check out the "more formidable" dry waterfalls and climbed several of those. finally came to a huge unclimbable waterfall and then b-lined it straight up a very very steep climb with loose rocks, cactii, and burned vegetation. upon gaining this subpeak we continued cross country over several more subpeaks and went straight at the summit. found station, 2 reference benchmarks, and register on summit. return route went west straight down off summit to northwest running ridgeline which took us all the way down to bitter creek at bottom of bitter canyon. followed wash all the way back and made the short detour to check out bitter spring.
