Ascent Trip Report

This peak is known locally as "Maganese Peak" supposedly because of a manganese mine somewhere nearby. I hiked this with the LV Mountaineers Club. We drove up the Boathouse Cove road (high clearance 4WD). See the track for details. We ascended up a north/south ridge line and descended to the north towards to small pinnacles which were class 3/4 climbs.
