Ascent Trip ReportWent up the West Face, on an uncairned route. Took the Kraft Loop trail for a while and then turned up into the Mountain about 200 yards or so before the Loop goes between Grey cap and Kraft. This was a great, straight up route with steep Class 2 and occasional Class 3. There really wasn't too much exposure. Mainly good rock,, a couple stretches of semi loose rock, but I think if you really were trying to avoid its possible.
There is a great ridge towards the summit. A little exposed but I think most people can handle. I think it'd be a great training ground for getting ready for some of the thinner ridges such as Northpeak at Lake Mead, and eventually Moapa.
We descended going North on the ridge towards Kraft and it was a nice esay descent,, a bit of loose rock but it was probably the best way I've gone down.
Overall a very fun short scramble. Took us three hours.
