Ascent Trip Report

Typically a quick (45 minute) and simple hike, Severance required about 20 minutes of extra time due to icing on parts of the trail. Microspikes would've been a good idea! Otherwise, conditions were ideal for a hike and the trail itself was in an fine state of overall maintenance. Views southeast from the summits rocks provided great views of Schroon Lake; paradox lake was also visible to the northeast.
