Ascent Trip Report

Bagged two fire towers while staying in Lake Placid for the long weekend. Started with Cathedral Rock and hit Arab Mountain on the way back. Still snow on both mountains, but no need for snowshoes; I did decide to use my microspikes to descend Arab though. Of the two, I enjoyed Arab Mountain the most. Both were quite easy as has been noted in other trip reports; I spent at least as much time driving back and forth from Lake Placid as I did on the mountains.
