Ascent Trip Report

After a solo hike from county road 2 to the base of Sherman I was turned around by a combination of crappy broken and small snowshoes and neck deep snow. I fought it for around an hour and only got about 300 feet, I turned around because I knew it was unrealistic to think that I would climb a mountain through this kind of snow all alone. Next time I will be better prepared with the appropriate gear.
