Ascent Trip Report

From Mountain Home we hiked out of the chilling fog into warm sunshine via the Old Railroad Grade and Fern Creek Tr to the East Peak visitors area, then to the summit lookout for a leisurely break enjoying the views of the higher elevations with fog covering much of the area below. Return to Mountain Home via the Temelpa, Old Plane, and Hoo-Koo-E-Koo Trails.
