Ascent Trip Report

this was the second hike of the season, i had two days off in a row so i thought i would try out a mountain or two. my originally plan was to try dickey and welch but unfortunately i was unable to find the trail that connects them at the top. The trail itself was very nice, fairly easy although it did get a bit steeper at the top of the mountain. As a person who hikes a lot i wouldn't recommend this hike without snowshoes, i was hiking with yak-track crampons but they just kept falling off or getting caught on my boots. but it was a bit slippery at the top, especially with the snow, there is a lot of ice and rocks you may not s that's covered by the snow. One thing i have to say is that the parking does require a $3.00 fee, and at the top for the loop trail you have to look left for the trail because i couldn't find it. this was a fairly easy hike its pet and kid friendly so I'd recommend this for everyone.
