Solo day ascent from Sawmill Campground, via Carnegie Institute/Alpine Lake/Southeast Ridge/summit plateau/south rampart. Crux of the climb is the south rampart, which is class 2 on solid rock, but narrow and very airy, with killer drops mere feet to the left or right
