Ascent Trip Report

Still no people on the mountain. I enjoyed my 3.5 mile round trip and circuit around the mined granite. Some nice views of the borrow pits below. Probably I enjoyed this hike because it was a playground of slabs of granite-gneiss all to myself and no people. I returned to my car and went back to do one more training hike up Stone Mountain completing my granitic batholith-pluton discovery tour of east Atlanta area.

Having the area to myself I scared up a huge white tailed deer.
