Ascent Trip Report

I was on a backpacking trip with Colorado Mountain College called Mountain Orientation but on our third day one of the people with us jumped off a tree and his knees buckled. For him the trip was over so one of the instructors spend the day hiking out with him while the rest of us went with the other instructor to the summit of Harvard. The entire time we were hiking up the basin I could bairly focus on the task at hand because I was drooling ove the Harvard/Colombia traverse which looked amazingly epic. After a somewhat rediculus amount of precautions (to be expected with an institutional situation like this) we finally made it to the summit of Mt. Harvard. The hike was easy and I was happilly surprised that there was some fun scrambling towards the summit.
