Ascent Trip ReportI was on a canoe trip with my Scout group, and while we were portaging through this area, my scout leader mentioned that the highest point in the area was near our portage. He was an avid climber and is the person who got my interested in peak bagging to begin with.
We checked out our maps and set our canoes and packs at the head of the portage and set out searching.
We bushwacked for a little longer than expected but we eventually came to the spot on the map that he had marked as the highpoint and I was pretty excited for my introduction to peak bagging!
