Ascent Trip ReportWeaver Bally L.O. is 9.2 miles on the Weaver Bally L.O. Rd., which is located about 1/4 mile west of the USFS Ranger Station on CA 299 and marked by a Trinity High School sign. The dirt road is easily driven, though very narrow in a few spots higher up. The principal views are of the Trinity Alps, dominated by Thompson Peak and the Wedding Cake, and of Weaverville far below. The L.O. is regularly staffed in fire season.
