Ascent Trip ReportOn day one, I backpacked from the Woodchuck Trailhead over Crown Pass to my camp at Midway Lake, a distance of about 21 miles. The next day, I followed a circuitous route through Backcap Basin to the base of the peak's class 2 south slope, which I followed to the summit. Afterwards, I retraced my route back to my camp at Midway Lake. The next day, I backpacked out to the truck. |
