Ascent Trip ReportAlthough I did get to the tower from the parking area under my own power, this can't be considered a hike. The tower is located in Milan Hill State Park. I got there on Thurs. afternoon and while I didn't drive around the whole park, I didn't see anyone at all where I did go. I parked my truck right on the dirt road running through the grounds and walked maybe 0.1 miles to the tower. There were decent views with seriously minimal effort. Really this ended up just being an exercise in checking off another summit on the NH Firetower list rather than going for a hike. Spent more time taking pictures than I did walking both to and from the tower. |
