Ascent Trip ReportLeft Boston ~10:30am, landed in Raleigh around 12:30pm, drove straight up to the Grayson Hihglands park and parked at the Massie Gap parking lot.
04:50pm - Began hiking from the Massie Gap parking lot, up the Rhododendron trail.
05:05pm - Ran in to the wild ponies. Not so elusive, and very friendly.
06:21pm - Summit
07:24pm - Ponies again, this time with little ones too.
07:42pm - Back at the parking lot.
