Ascent Trip ReportThe Cerro Chato it´s extincted volcano, since 3500 years ago. The climb is short but really strenuous. Is more like a scramble at the and of the trail.
The view from the top it´s really beautifull. In front, the blue Laguna Cerro Chato and in the back, the Arenal volcano.
