Ascent Trip ReportA woods track and an overgrown herd path ...... 3.4km, 1 hour RT.
After visiting the Levi CoHP I went for this Robert Cliché COHP. I found my way to junction of hwy 12 and 5 Rand Nord on the east side of the village of East Broughton where I drove north on 5 Rang Nord for 1.7km to a right on Vieille Route, 1.6km left(north) on 4 Rand Nord, 5.2km to a woods track on the left (chained-off and signed "Industrie Grondin"), GPS 46.29499,-71.09074, this was my TH.
I walked the winding track southwesterly for 1.3km to a turnaround at a height-of-land. A Hunter's trail leaves the northwest side of this turnaround and goes directly to the HP at less than 400 meters ( a fairly good trail except for the last half which is badly overgrown).
This whole area has been forested years back and vegetation is quite small, after just 100 meters on the trail you can visibly see the obvious HP with a Hunter's Stand.
I chose my HP behind the Stand at a small clearing, GPS 46.28828,-71.10371.
From here I moved on to Mont Oneil.
