Ascent Trip ReportTo conclude a day of 'little' peaks, I did a 15-minute jaunt up The Pinnacle, a sub-summit of nearby Conger Mountain. For such a short hike, the views south and west (a small, nearby frog-laden pond seemed close enough to dive into) were exquisite. I encountered NO one on the trail and for such a family-friend hike, only one other party of two had signed in at the trail register on such a beautiful day for hiking.
My only real criticism of this hike is the 1.7 mile drive on narrow, brush-laden dirt road to reach the trailhead.
