Ascent Trip ReportBooked a private tour through the hotel in Sa Pa to climb Fansipan in 2 days and 1 night. Guide Ta suggested going to the top on the first day if time and energy permitted, allowing an easier second day to sleep in a little and walk straight out rather than get up earlier and climb the summit as well as walk out. A great idea to my thinking :) We left the car around 9.45am, arrived at the camp at 2800m around 2.30pm, which gave enough time to reach the summit by 4.50pm and to return to camp by 7pm with a few stops for photos at the top and of the sunset on the way down. |
