Ascent Trip Report

Set out from the parking area below the Ausable Club, took the Lake Road up to the Leech Trail turn off. Climbed up to the shoulder of Noonmark Mt. then up to the summit of Bear Den. From there we headed up to Dial and Nippletop. After lunch there we dropped down through Elk Pass and at the junction turned back up to Colvin and Blake Mts. Tired and running low on water we headed back over Colvin which is a tough .8 mile steep climb, and down back to the junction. From there we continued down to the Lake Road to finish the 18.8 mile loop.
