Ascent Trip ReportI was on my way to Bald Mtn and stopped for this Triple Divide challenge. The Triple Divide is located at the top of a rural subdivision with lots of homes and a mze of streets. I am sure there are other routes to drive close to the Triple Divide. I turned west from Hwy 460 onto Coal Bank Hollow Road and zeroed my odometer. At 0.5 miles I turned left on Pearman Road, at 1.9 miles I turned right on Smithfield Drive, at 2.2 miles I turned left on Preston Forest Drive, at 2.6 miles I turned left on Jefferson Forest Drive and at 2.8 miles I parked along the road. The triple divide is a short distance off the road to the right. |
