Ascent Trip Report2 miles each way. Something like 1500' vertical. 43 min up, 36 min down. There was still a lot of ice on the peak, starting at about a mile in. Lots of people were bare-booting off the trail to get to the top, so bring your spikes!
Summit tower had some great views, but there was some wire missing from one of the rails, and I didn't really feel like getting blown off in the wind so I only spent a minute up there.
Trailhead is on the side of a well-traveled road. If you're driving through, just head up! |
