Ascent Trip ReportParked at Predigger road and hiked up to the intersection with the Devil's path and hiked up Jimmy Dolan notch in six inches of snow. Some of the lower stretches had standing water from some snow melt.
Took a right and made our way to the South summit of Twin. After some photographs we continued to Thw peak of Twin Mountain. The trails had six to twelve inches of snow on the ground. Ice conditions existed in a spot or two on top but the trek was mostly on snow the whole way. The hike back over to Twin Mountain was easy. The views were great in 10 inches of snow and 45 deg F temperatures under a clear sky. Afterwards we returned though the Twin Mountain-South Peak --descended and then climbed Big Indian. We continued on to a little overlook east of Big Indian but the views on Twin and Twin Mountain-South Peak were the best. Perhaps some of the best in the park. Cheers.
