Ascent Trip Report

This highpoint is accessible via the Salt Lick trail. See for more information. The elevation gain is about 400 feet.

Hiked in via Newman trail with St Louis Adventure Group. The trail was rather slippery, but very beautiful, with a little bit of snow remaining from a storm 3 days earlier. This is a very nice hike. There is a benchmark at the top and very nice views out across the Mississippi, and north to St Louis.
