Ascent Trip Report***Private Outing***
led by Matt Hengst, Jack Kiefer
Rough dirt road requiring high clearance vehicles and in places 4x4 to trailhead. Trail begins at the closed jeep road and continues on it for about 1.6 miles and then goes cross country in a southerly direction across a broad, relatively flat alluvial basin. After about 1.4 miles the route heads south up a steep gully and then veers east to gain the ridgeline. Several small bumps are gained and descended along the ridgeline while traveling to the base of Muddy. Once at the base of Muddy, a sweet section of class three climbing up a large system of cracks gains the summit. Exquisite views on top.
