Ascent Trip ReportSunol Ridge is open to the public, with preferred access from the Tyler Ranch staging area that opened in 2022. Technically, the service road from Palomeres Rd that people have been using as the standard route for this peak is closed to public access (see page 10 in this document).
Very similar in character to Mission Peak, a 2000' climb up a fire road with nice views and cows. I biked this route, but it will be more enjoyable on foot for most people. |
