Ascent Trip ReportCheck in with Kerala forest department at highway saddle near gap road to obtain permission to hike. They will require you to pay a fee (600 Rupees at time of writing) and go with a forest dept ranger.
Steep but straightforward trail. Recommend hiking early in the day as visibility will be much better, afternoons are hazy in the Munnar area. Ranger said they open at 5 AM. |
