Ascent Trip ReportBeginning part of trail is hard to follow due to several downed trees. Once the trail gets steep it is easier to follow. Top was nice and clear though the trail was very muddy. Someone stole my mates hiking poles that were left when we went to the summit plateau. On the decent I left the trail at the very top of the scree field to try and cut the thief off. Saw her when I was decending the scree field and caught her just after the field. Got the poles back and re ascended the scree field along trail to return the poles. Ending the trail was just as hard as the start losing the trail a few times. Thief was also lost at end. Don't leave stuff unattended. |
