Ascent Trip ReportStarted at dove lake trailhead and went via Lilla lake trail. Trail was well maintained though the steps were often filled with water, my feet got soaked. The start of the hike to the summit was cold wet and rainy. There was also some snow falling at times. Cleared for a few minutes when we got to summit. Wanted to continue to cradle mountain but weather didn't look good. decended via crater lake through the meadows saw many wombats, echidnas and birds continued down to snake hill. |
