Ascent Trip Report

The final peak of a three-peak outing, this was after Bertha Peak and Arctic Point. Perhaps because of that, or because this trail was slightly more steep, this was the most difficult of the three hikes. But on its own, this should be a fairly simple and straightforward hike, with only a brief stretch off-trail. The weather was beautiful, warm (not hot) and calm, with just enough clouds in the air to keep the temperature from really cranking up. We followed the trail up all the way until just below the summit, then veered off to the left and scrambled up the final 500' or so. We had to scramble over some rocks at the summit, but it was easy enough. We took pictures, signed the summit register, took a quick break, and then headed back down.
