Ascent Trip ReportClimbed Shasta via Avalanche gulch with one friend.
We did the ascent in two days camping at Lake Hellen.
It was a heavy snow year and the snow went all the way down into the parking lot. Unusual for June.
Reached the summit at 5:19am leaving at 2:00 AM. We were the first to summit of the day.
Nobody reached the summit the previous day due to heavy winds. We however had perfect weather.
