Ascent Trip ReportFirst day only from Oberaarsee car park to Oberaarjochhütte due to acclimatization, as this peak was planned as first out of 4 in Bernese Alps.
Second day we desceneded over Galmigletscher to Fieschergletscher and ascent was on NE slope of Grosses Wannenhorn, over glacier but closer to rocks of north ridge.
Last few meters is rocky ridge with easy scramble to the summit. And down the same way to Finsteraarhornhütte where we planned Fiescherhorns and Finsteraarhorn on next 2 days.
But due to my dumbness and decision to take new La Sportiva G2 boots on this trip we had to went back to Oberaarsee where we left car. Because of the pain which these new boots caused to my ankle we didn't have any other choice, not to jeopardise another ascents in Alps.
