Ascent Trip ReportHeed Eric's advice and park at the 5800 ft saddle. You will need hi-clearance to get that far. The rest of the road is hard on tires and skidplates. On my way out, I stopped to talk to two FS researchers who were on their way to check a grizzly bear hair trap they had left near the summit. They told me that there have been grizzly sightings near the base of the mountain. |
