Ascent Trip Report

Road to trailhead is in good condition. Snow starts almost immediately on the trail but has some intermittent spots melted out. Lots of snow in headlight basin. Saw wet loose activity, rockfall triggering some slides, and a huge cornice near S ingalls that hasn't gone yet. We turned around at the base of Pitch 1 due to snow on the route. My first time there but from what I heard the first pitch starts at the gully. This gully is steep and completely covered in snow. Not the best runout either. We looked for alternative route up some other slabs but decided against moving forward.
