Ascent Trip ReportThis was the first time I hiked North Uncanoonuc Mountain.
My dad, my sister, and I started hiking up the Class 6 Rd. It winded through the woods and picked up in grade. This section of trail is often wet. It ascended to the Red Dot Trail, which went to the summit.
The trail winded through more woods and eventually steeply ascended a ridge. It continued to the summit.
We took pictures and videos, and then went back down.
When we got home, it started to snow. There was snow until March/April 2010.
