Ascent Trip Report

The most difficult part of this ascent was the long drive on forest roads (about 20 miles) to get to the start point. I took Forest roads 437, 478, and 441 to get within 0.4 mi. of the top. While there are rough spots, all should be passable with a passenger car if you're careful and it hasn't rained recently. A straightforward bushwhack. The top is covered with trees, mostly dead. I walked about a bit watching my GPS altimeter to try to locate the high spot, but it's not self-evident. Not especially memorable, but on the NM top 100 list and #33 Taos County for me.
