Ascent Trip Report1st bit to Penguin Cradle Trail is marked and cut through button grass.
Next section south is over button grass plains and impossible to stay on vehicle track. This is picked up on the other side of the plain and is easily followed to summit of Recondite - it goes all the way up.
Navigating across button grass would be difficult with low visibility and with no navigation tools.
