Ascent Trip Report

-> Although Cascade Drive passes through the summit contour, the obvious highest point is located on the north side of Cascade Drive.
-> The highest point is located on private property. As a result, any visitation is at each person's own risk.
-> From the Hat Island Ferry Cove: Head uphill/south along Port Susan Drive. Then take the first road turning right. At the next road intersection, a "T" intersection (Port Gardner Drive), turn left. At the next road intersection (Skagit Way), turn right. At the next road intersection (Olympic Drive), turn right. Olympic Drive smoothly transitions into Cascade Drive at its northern end.

If it was not for this being an island highpoint, and if we were not already crabbing off of Hat Island, this highpoint would not be worth visiting.
