Ascent Trip ReportI followed the ridgeline up, and on the way back I followed the ridgeline for a while and then descended down to Bender Wash and took it the rest of the way back. I am glad that I went down to the wash, and if I did the hike again I would consider going up that way.
I saw some signs of illegal smuggling in the wash -- blankets and backpacks were strewn about.
