Route: Red Gate Trail to Blue Summit Trail to summit, then back.
Summary: Another cold day with lows at zero and a high of 5. Sunny all day with no/low wind. Trail was broken out until 2500 ft. The rest of the way was previously broken, but with an additional 2-4 inches from the night before with some decent drifts on the ridge and summit. Trail was in good condition. Used microspikes for complete hike. |
