Ascent Trip ReportFrom SSE, good parking at junction, 2mi easy desert crossing, around a spur then trail up to saddle and up S ridge, a little intermittent, pass L of some towers near summit. Highpoint close to trig, reference marks 1 and 2 both intact. Fine Death Valley views across to Telescope Peak and distant Whitney. 2h40 up, 4h50 round trip. Thought of Mt Eagle but time was short, and nursing a bruised foot from yesterday's Avawatz descent.
