|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||12270 ft / 3739 m|
Ascent Trip ReportNeal Robbins (snow) and Kathy Rich (rock) led this fantastic climb in perfect weather. Started up scree, put on crampons to cross consolidated snow (although it barely reached 32 early that morning), then sections of class 3 rock, then a snow climb to the rocky summit area. Amazing 360 views. Dorothy, Genevieve, and Edith Lakes still snow covered. Desert to the east was hazy, but the west in particular was stunning. Nice view of Red Slate with snow cover. Glissaded most of the way down. Ascent 4.5 hours, descent 1.25 hrs.
