Ascent Trip ReportA drive up.
We approached from the north after visiting Lehigh Hill. From the junction of 24/114 we traveled south about half a mile on 114 to a left on Hedly Street, .6 miles right (south) on Middle Road, .37 miles left (east) on a grass track laeding to the Water Tanks. Parked at 90 yards if front of the gate and a left-right line of trees and bushes ....... straight ahead (east) are the Water Tanks and beyond at about 200 yards is hwy 138 and the Portsmouth Water District Headquarters ..... you can also access the highpoint from the paved driveway to these headquarters on 138. This whole area is residential.
I walked right (south) along the tree/bush line and chose my spot at 15 yards at 41.58413, 71.25449.
"SHE WAS ALL PAINTED OVER LIKE A PARK BENCH." ..... Canadian saying for too much makeup. |
