Ascent Trip ReportWent up the usual route, which is the blue Summit Trail. Steep in most places, like others have said. First half is a nice wide carriageway-type of trail, then the upper half is "regular" trail. It was a little wet since it had rained recently. Weather report had said it would be partly cloudy all day, but it was pretty much all cloudy when I got to the top. It was all open around the (closed) visitor center and felt cold due to the wind. It's pretty flat at the top and I wandered around looking for the highest ground. The GPS coordinates for the mountain were located in the parking lot.
On the way down I caught a little sleet and later a sprinkle of rain. Not surprising for November in Vermont.
