Ascent Trip ReportFirst peak of a three-mountain loop hike of Webster, Jackson, and Pierce via Webster-Jackson Trail, Webster Cliff Trail, and Crawford Path. Absolutely perfect weather, with spectacular visibility, warm temperatures, and very little wind (outside of a pleasant breeze). Parked at the Crawford trailhead, then did a brief roadwalk on Route 302 (as well as the stunningly pretty Saco Lake Trail) en route to the Webster-Jackson trailhead. Got off to a fairly late start, so Bugle Cliff was a perfect spot for my actual lunch, with a quick snack and rehydration break at the actual summit. |
